I was responsible for shading, look development, lighting, and rendering for this project. Created in Modo, rendered with V-Ray GPU, and finished in Nuke and Photoshop, the study explores two distinct lighting modes across three camera angles while maintaining cohesive materials, composition, and visual continuity across the full image set. The goal was to understand how a change in lighting direction and color could reshape the same environment without losing the identity of the scene.

First lighting direction

The first setup uses a darker, more atmospheric lighting direction across all three views, balancing localized highlights with deeper shadows while maintaining material definition and a clear read of the interior.

Second lighting direction

The second setup revisits the same scene with a brighter, more natural lighting direction. The change in light placement and contrast reshapes the atmosphere while preserving continuity in materials, set dressing, and composition across the three camera views.
