Ferrari Wheel Study
CGI study of a Ferrari wheel and brake assembly, from asset build to final render.
For this project I handled modeling, UV unwrapping, look development, shading, lighting, rendering, and final retouching. Built in Modo, rendered with V-Ray GPU, and finished in Nuke and Photoshop, the focus was on creating a clean Ferrari wheel and brake asset that would hold up both as a hero image and in close-up detail. The page shows the final render alongside clay, UV, crop, and brake-system views from the same study.
Form and UV setup
The clay render and UV view show the asset before final shading and lighting. They were useful for checking form, surface definition, and overall readiness for look development.
Surface and material close-ups
These crops focus on reflections, material finish, tire detail, and how the wheel holds up at a closer viewing distance in the final render.
Wireframe and final brake detail
These brake-system views show the underlying geometry next to the finished render, highlighting the caliper, disc, and material treatment more clearly.
