Ferrari Wheel Study
Commercial client automotive CGI project covering a Ferrari wheel and brake assembly from asset development and look development through to final rendering and retouching.
For this commercial client project I handled modeling, UV unwrapping, look development, shading, lighting, rendering, and final retouching. Built in Modo, rendered with V-Ray GPU, and finished in Nuke and Photoshop, the focus was on creating a clean Ferrari wheel and brake asset that would hold up both as a client-facing hero image and in close-up detail. The page shows the final render alongside clay, UV, material-detail, and brake-system views from the same study.
Form and UV setup
The clay render and UV view show the asset before final shading and lighting. They were used to evaluate form, surface definition, proportion, and overall readiness for look development before moving into the final client-facing render.
Surface and material close-ups
These crops focus on reflections, metal response, tire detail, brake materials, and how the asset holds up at a closer viewing distance in the final client render.
Wireframe and final brake detail
These brake-system views place the underlying geometry next to the finished result, showing the caliper, drilled disc, hub detail, and material treatment more clearly for close-up presentation.
